I found myself thinking about death for reasons I don't want to discuss cause it makes me a saaaad panda, but when we die in game....
If you decided already refer to option A if you have not decided refer to option B.

A) What is going to happen?

B) I suggest that we have to respawn, of course, at our home village or an Inn that we can optionally set as our spawn point. Also, if you were PKed the person who killed you gets a sum of money whereas you loose a sum.
I would say the dead player suffers a lose of about 4% and the killer receives about 3% so it's not taking too much from a player for dying but it's not creating an exploitation because it's depreciating in value every time it is transferred.

That's a nice suggestion but i personally have never been a fan of losing stuff to random pk strikes but who is? As for the respawning thats fairly simple, i was thinking perhaps if you are killed an option will come up asking you to respawn but if you don't click it and somebody with a healing jutsu called 'Revive'or something comes by they can bring you back where you died but that's kinda complex, thanks for the suggestion!

Keep it simple. I believe respawn ONLY should be used. What you could have is a form of cut scene where a med ninja (an NPC) of course, comes onto the screen, looks you over, picks you up and carries you off. But that's as far as I'd go.

Great ideas guys. So far the death in the game respawns you at your starting village.

But i was starting to think about a grim reaper type deal. Like after you die you go to a realm where you have to talk to the shinigami(3rd hokages) and make a deal to come back to life.

Possibly collecting souls, or maybe just a small fee (10ryu). What do you think?

Don't really like that though, too many people would be Bingo Booked because people play MMO's to kill other real players. Also, what about the guy who died. There HAS to be consequences for incompetence.

If it's made so people get income from killing, and the victim looses money i could see many people just constantly killing other, more defenseless people simply for money and the fact that they could keep that person at like 0 [currency here].

Dying and having to respawn is not in anyway a drawback, it can be exploited as a TP back to your home village or whereever you have it set so I still say there has to b some lose....maybe a percentage gone into nowhere, as if you're paying a hospital bill or w.e like on GTA?

I'm simply saying that a PK should get and lose something.
You could make it where you only get loot from a PK if you are within 2 levels of each other, and the guy who died has to get 10 souls.

If they are more than a couple levels away the killer gets nothing and the dead guy has to get like 5 souls instead.

That's actually quite an interesting idea, it could be used to test the strength of the villages. The results of each of each village like how many were killed and how much time it took to bring them down could be put up somewhere so everyone could see who did the best.

I only say they raid Leaf cause I know for a FACT that some noobs will be in Leaf. There will be newbies in my village (Waterfall) but they won't be noobs (There is a difference) because I will educate them on proper game etiquet and kindness.

a game without noobs ? what game is that ... besides newbies and noobs will be at every village no matter how hard you try to educate theme on proper game etiquet and kindness so this would mean that akatsuki should raid every village

They can raid mine as much as they want but I'm gonna make all my Students and Genin invisible!
Not the Chuunin though, that's how they earn their Jounin rank, surviving Akatsuki raids!

Bleh, of course there'll be newbies, we'll be newbies when we start playing. But isn't this idea getting a bit off topic?

Anyway, the 3 Hokage Shinigami wassit idea isn't good at all. How will you do this with the other Villages? We only know what One of the Dead Kazekages generally look like?

How about this....The realm thing is great, although a possibly difficult, inclusion. But I suggest having actual Shadows (Yes, look at the fact that Kage Means Shadow) dressed in the ceremonial robes of each of the Great nations.

This would mean that only one scene is required for every village.

I personally still think a respawn is enough. It's plain, simple and less of a confusion and aggravation.
